About the sender persona
Your outreach is signed by a named member of your team, for example "Jordan Reyes, Sales Assistant." That person is a persona our team writes as, and it's the most common question we get from clients and their customers.
Why we use a persona
- Planners reply to people, not to businesses. A named sender with a real-sounding title gets far more replies than a generic events@ address.
- It lets our team answer the first few questions as that person without you being involved, which is the whole point of the service.
- Rotating the job title across inboxes keeps the emails from looking mass-sent.
Choosing the name and title
We pick a name that fits your region and brand on your kickoff call. If you'd rather use a real staff member's name, we can, as long as that person is comfortable with us replying as them for first-touch questions.
The profile image
The persona has a profile photo by default. Some customers find generated headshots off-putting, especially in markets where people are wary of AI. You can request a new image at any time: a different headshot, your logo, a photo of your venue or food, or no image at all. Tell us and it's changed the same day.
"Is this a scam?"
Occasionally a planner asks whether the email is legitimate, usually because the sending domain (the try address rather than your main domain) doesn't match your website exactly. Our team handles this reply and points them to your main website and phone number. If one ever reaches you directly, confirm you work with the sender and carry on; the planner is almost always still interested, they just wanted to check.
How we introduce you
When the persona hands a lead to you, you're introduced as a teammate or colleague by name, never as the owner or boss, unless you tell us otherwise.
