Re-engagement: how we follow up with leads who said "not right now"

Most corporate planners who reply aren't ready to book today. Re-engagement is how those leads turn into events three, six or nine months later without you doing anything.

How a lead gets into re-engagement

When a planner says they're interested but not now, we place them in the quarter they're most likely to book, based on what they told us in the thread or the survey ("we do a summer party and a holiday party" puts them in Q2 and Q4). Leads you've booked and marked as such are placed in the following year.

What re-engagement sends

A short, personal check-in from the same sender persona a few weeks ahead of their quarter, referencing the earlier conversation. These are not newsletters. Replies come through exactly like a new lead: our team handles the first response and hands them to you when they're ready.

The 60 day rule

Anyone who has replied with interest is not contacted again by any campaign for a minimum of 60 days. This keeps us from looking like spam and protects your name with planners who said yes.

Using the re-engagement list yourself

On the Reengagement page you can filter the list by quarter, event type or company and send a bulk email directly, once your inbox is connected with sending turned on. Most clients leave this to us, but it's useful if you have a last-minute opening or a new offer to push.

Bringing in your past leads

If you have a spreadsheet of past inquiries or old customers, send it to us and we can add them to re-engagement so they hear from you too. We'll ask you to confirm the list first so nobody gets emailed who shouldn't. This is optional and some clients prefer to keep past customers separate.
