How can we help?
Everything about working with Event Captain: how outreach runs, how leads reach you, and what each page in your dashboard is for.
Getting Started
How Event Captain outreach works
Event Captain emails corporate planners in your area on your behalf, as a member of your team, and hands you the ones who want to book.
How lead handoff works
Our team answers the easy questions.
Connecting your email
Connecting your inbox lets Event Captain see which leads turned into bookings, so your reports show real results instead of just replies.
Using Your Dashboard
The Interested Leads page
Interested Leads shows every planner who replied with some interest, including the ones our team is still working.
Events tab vs Interested Leads: which one needs you
If you only check one page, make it Events.
Re-engagement: how we follow up with leads who said "not right now"
Most corporate planners who reply aren't ready to book today.
Reading your weekly report
Every week you get an email summarising what went out and what came back.
Newsletters, Google reviews and event deck links
Once your database of interested planners grows, a few extra tools help you get more out of it.
Google Reviews: turning finished events into reviews
The morning after an event, Event Captain emails the planner asking how it went, with five stars they can click.
Managing more than one venue or brand
One login covers all of your accounts.
Your first month with Event Captain
From kickoff to your first check-in is about six weeks.
About the sender persona
Your outreach is signed by a named member of your team, for example "Jordan Reyes, Sales Assistant." That person is a persona our team writes as, and it's the most common question we get from clients and their customers.
